Your training
Moderne Maschinen, Anlagen und Geräte setzen sich heutzutage immer häufiger sowohl aus mechanischen als auch aus elektronischen Bauteilen zusammen und verfügen über programmierbare Steuerungen. Beispiele hierfür sind etwa ABS-Bremsen oder auch elektronische Antriebssysteme. Mechatroniker kennen sich in all diesen Bereichen gut aus. Sie setzen Anlagen und Maschinen aus mechanischen, elektronischen, pneumatischen und hydraulischen Komponenten zusammen, nehmen sie in Betrieb, bedienen sie und sorgen für ihre kontinuierliche Wartung und Instandhaltung. Mechatroniker sehen Anlagen und Maschinen ganzheitlich. Bei Störungen arbeiten sie situationsbedingt mit den Spezialisten der Fachabteilungen zusammen.
Ausbildungsdauer: 3,5 Jahre

Im Headquarter in Leinfelden-Echterdingen arbeiten rund 1 800 Mitarbeiter in Entwicklung, Fertigung, Marketing und im Vertrieb von Elektrowerkzeugen. Am Standort Leinfelden-Echterdingen sind drei von sechs Business Units vertreten. Sie verantworten die Sparten der gewerblichen Elektrowerkzeuge in industrialisierten Märkten, den Home & Garden Bereich sowie Messwerkzeuge.
