“I don't pay good wages because I have a lot of money, I have a lot of money because I pay good wages.” - Robert Bosch, 1931. We still live by this principle at Bosch today: in addition to attractive salaries, we offer many additional financial benefits, such as bonuses for the joint contribution to the company's success, individual performance-related pay and private and company pension schemes. In addition to benefit portals with discounts in numerous online stores and services, our associates naturally also get special conditions on Bosch products.
Creating something new, developing, and growing – all this is Bosch. Development plays a key role for us. That‘s one of the reasons why we have been able to pioneer markets and technologies for more than 130 years. At Bosch, we offer our associates a wide range of opportunities for further development: from comprehensive training opportunities to a wide range of career paths.
Whether it's new professional goals, personal development, or more time for family, friends, and hobbies – priorities can vary from person to person and change throughout a lifetime. That's why we offer flexible working models, including job sharing, flexible shift patterns, part-time options, and sabbaticals. These models make it possible to balance personal needs as well as team’s requirements and work tasks.
The well-being of our employees is important to us. That's why we offer various health-promoting initiatives and measures. We provide many preventative services related to physical and mental health. There are numerous self-organized clubs and groups where hobbies and interests can be pursued together with colleagues. To strengthen the community, we offer various networks on a wide range of topics – from family to diversity. Here, our associates engage with and support one another.
We ensure that our associates can commute to work comfortably. This may mean making their daily commute easier with a Bosch shuttle or company bike offer. If they want to work from abroad for a short period, we are happy to check the feasibility. Before and during longer stays abroad, we support our associates and their families with all-round support: from onboarding and accompanying mentoring to language courses and a well-planned return.
